Rubynotes AI – Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Rubynotes AI ("Rubynotes", "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. The Service

Rubynotes provides recording, transcription, AI-generated insights (summaries, action items, flashcards/quizzes, translations, chat), podcast generation, document scanning/OCR, importing, exporting, and organization tools.

3. AI Outputs Disclaimer (Very Important)

Rubynotes uses AI and automated systems. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them. Rubynotes does not provide professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

4. Your Content and Rights

You retain ownership of content you create or upload ("User Content"). You grant Rubynotes a limited license to host, store, process, and display your content only to operate and improve the service (e.g., transcription, AI analysis, syncing, exports).

You represent that you have the rights to upload and process all content you provide, including any third-party audio/video/files you import.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for illegal purposes
Upload or process content you do not have rights to use
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, or interfere with the App or its providers
Bypass subscriptions, limits, or security measures
Use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Rubynotes may offer paid subscriptions and in-app purchases.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage/cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID subscription settings.

Refunds

Purchases are generally final. However, refunds may be available where required by law or under Apple's policies. Refund requests must be made through Apple. Rubynotes does not control App Store billing and cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.

7. Feature Limits and Changes

Free and Premium tiers may have different limits and features (e.g., usage caps for AI chat or podcast generation). We may modify features, limits, or availability to maintain service quality, prevent abuse, or reflect provider costs.

8. Availability; "As Is"

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Rubynotes is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Rubynotes is not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months (or the minimum required by law)

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend/terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if required for security/legal reasons. Termination does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel via Apple.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, unless mandatory consumer protection laws apply.
